Known as the bicycle capital of Europe, Münster seems like a lovely place to be a student. With a well-deserved reputation for friendliness, thousands of students and lots of green spaces, hence it couldn’t be nicer.
For such a small place it has an amazing amount of culture and a lively nightlife. There’s a huge variety of music to choose from. If you want to get involved in the city’s musical life, universities have number of choirs, orchestras & ensembles.
Münster is coming down with museums, from the State Museum of Art and Cultural History to the Münster University Bible Museum. If modern art interests you, then you should head for the Exhibition Hall of Contemporary Art.
